Hanover Facility Now Open!
Yazoo Mills, with corporate offices in New Oxford, PA opened its second facility at 800 Gitts Run Road in Hanover, PA, on November 26, 2012. The 45,000 square foot facility houses mailing tubes, stock cores, and numerous raw materials. With the stock items under one roof, this facility will further expand the company's ability to meet customers requests for same day and next day shipments. Additionally, the expansion will allow Yazoo to broaden its production capabilities and product lines. Sustainable design features were incorporated into the building's architecture and the facility meets LEED certified credentials. The project was completed by Conewago Enterprises ahead of schedule and within budget.

Construction Winding Up
The construction on Yazoo’s facility in Hanover is winding up. The excavation began in April and construction started soon after. Before we knew it the walls were up and the roof was on. We are down to the final interior items to be finished and completion of the landscaping. Yazoo is planning to move its inventory of over 1,500,000 cores into the building by mid-November and is excited about operating out of this facility along with its New Oxford facility.

Double Down!
Yazoo’s .250 wall core stocking program has more than doubled in 6 short months with the addition of 16 new items. A total of 30 sizes of .250 wall thickness cores are in stock and ready to ship. New Warehouse Progress
Yazoo's new facility is really taking shape. With the initial site work completed and the ability to set a wall every 30 minutes, it was just a matter of days until Conewago Enterprises had the walls set on Yazoo’s new warehouse located at 800 Gitts Run Road in Hanover PA. They are currently working on the roof decking and the concrete flooring is the next step in the process.

Breaking New Ground
The site work for Yazoo's new facility in Hanover, PA has begun. Yazoo had selected Conewago Enterprises as the contractor for the job. The project is on schedule for the 45,000 square foot manufacturing and warehousing facility. Yazoo is looking forward to operating the new facility and is excited about the positive changes the new facility will bring to the company and their customers.

Two-Color In-Line Printing
With the addition of a new two-color flexo printer, Yazoo continues to reinvest and offer additional options to their expanding customer base. Along with 12 stock ink colors, this new printer allows their customers the choice of one or two color in-line printing. The Next Century
Yazoo Mills has been approved to build a 45,000 square foot warehousing and manufacturing plant in Hanover, PA. The new facility will be a major expansion for the company and will mark its 110 year anniversary. The new building is being constructed of precast concrete wall systems, utilizing the most modern building design available in the market place today. Yazoo’s customers will benefit from an expanded level of same day and next day services with this expansion. The upcoming growth is a true measure of the continued increase in demand for Yazoo’s product lines and service. The company plans to break ground in April and the project is targeted to be completed by December 2012. When completed, Yazoo will operate 2 facilities totaling 195,000 square feet.

Additional Equipment and Upgrades
Yazoo has recently upgraded all of its paper tube production lines with custom fabricated equipment to reduce waste and improve set-up times. An outside engineering firm was utilized to create the customized equipment, made to Yazoo’s specifications. These continuous improvements help Yazoo maintain a competitive advantage and increase the efficiency within their 150,000 sq. ft. operation. Additionally, a new snap-seal mailing tube line has also been added. Yazoo continues to reinvest and offer additional services to their ever expanding customer base.

Product Lines Grow
Yazoo recently added additional sizes to its stock mailing tube lines. The Heavy-Duty Kraft line now has a total of 61 sizes, the Heavy-Duty White line has a total of 13 sizes, and the Light- Duty Handout line has 4 sizes. We also added two totally new product lines: Adjustable Shipping Tubes and Multi-Pak Assorted Mailing Tubes. With 87 sizes available, Yazoo has one of the largest selections anywhere. All of these items are available for online ordering and in stock for same day shipment.
Metal end plugs have been added to our offering of end closures to meet the demands of our customers requiring extra heavy-duty plugs for shipping heavy objects, parts, etc. Yazoo now has 20 sizes of metal and plastic end plugs to choose from. The metal end plugs, like our plastic end plugs, are in stock for immediate shipment.
The 3" I.D. Stock Core program has also expanded and now offers 51 sizes to meet the growing demands of our customers. These cores are always in stock and ready for same day shipment.

Expansion in Progress
Yazoo Mills is under construction! Yazoo is working through another phase of growth to its New Oxford, Pennsylvania facility. When the current expansion is complete the facility will total 150,000 square feet. The project is expected to be completed by November 2009.

The new site is much larger, more user friendly, and more visually appealing. Progress Forward

If approved, the facility will have its final build out totaling approximately 150,000 square feet. Additional Equipment
Within the last year there have also been upgrades to our production lines and capabilities. A new PACO automatic recutter has been added, new Bellmark printers, new die cutting and punching capabilities, 50 new Jarke racks, and automated glue delivery systems. Product Lines Expanded
Yazoo recently added additional sizes to its stock mailing tube lines. The Heavy-Duty kraft line now has a total of 50 sizes, the Heavy-Duty White line has a total of 11 sizes and the Light-Duty Handout tubes has 4 sizes. With 65 sizes available, Yazoo has one of the largest selections anywhere. All of these items are available for online ordering and in stock for same day shipment.
The stock core program has also expanded and now offers 46 sizes to meet the growing demands of customers. These cores are always in stock and ready for same-day shipment. Several new colors have been added to the parchment cover selection which now totals 13. In addition, Yazoo now has the ability to customize glossy covers to match any PMS number.
Cremation rollers are the newest product offering in Yazoo’s line up. We now offer 2-1/2” O.D. x 18” long heavy duty cremation rollers. Our rollers are designed to reduce floor abrasions, aid in casket loading, and withstand 1000 pounds of weight. These rollers are in stock for immediate shipment.

Computer Upgrades
Yazoo has recently completed an upgrade to the entire computer system. After interviewing several IT companies, Yazoo’s IT Planning Committee selected Epicor, a global leader in software solutions, to manage the installation of Vantage, a new high-tech software. This innovative program will manage the entire order cycle and enable all departments to accommodate customers more quickly and more efficiently. Reinsel Kuntz Lesher, one of the largest regional consulting firms in Southeastern Pennsylvania, was selected to implement and manage all new hardware systems, internal networking, and external networking. New servers were installed which has enabled faster processing and larger storage capacity.

Expansion Completed
Yazoo Mills, Inc has just completed another phase of growth to its New Oxford, Pennsylvania facility. A modern concrete façade was added to the front of the building along with an expansion to the offices and additional parking areas. In addition to enlarging the lobby, the existing offices were upgraded and remodeled which now total 7600 square feet. With the purchase of adjoining properties, the complex now encompasses 9 acres. The project was completed by Conewago Enterprises, Inc., a premier commercial construction contractor located in Hanover, Pennsylvania.
