What is the difference between a tube and a core?
A tube is used to put something inside, and a core denotes that something is wound onto it.
What is your lead time?
Custom orders ship in 48 hours or less, guaranteed. Stock tube and core orders can ship same day if orders are placed by 4 pm EST.
Do you have any minimums?
We have no minimum order requirements for domestic orders. Whether you need a single tube, a box full, or a truckload, we’ll make what you need. International orders require a $500 minimum order. For your convenience and same-day shipping, our stock mailing tubes and stock cores are sold by the carton.
How can I get the best price on your tubes or cores?
Our pricing is volume-based, so higher order quantities typically result in lower per-unit costs. If you need multiple tube or core sizes, these can often be combined to qualify for better pricing tiers and to reduce freight costs by shipping together via LTL or full truckload. Our team is available to help optimize quantities, sizes, and shipping to get you the best overall value for your application.
Are your cores custom-made or in-stock ready to ship?
We offer both. Yazoo has 110 sizes of 3” I.D. & 6” I.D. cores in-stock and ready to ship at all times. We also custom manufacture cores to fit your specifications.
What diameters can you make?
Our sizes range from 3/4” to 20” inside diameter.
What wall thicknesses can you do?
Our wall thicknesses range from .025 of an inch to .660 of an inch depending on the inside diameter that meets your needs.
What lengths can you do?
We can cut 3/16 of an inch up to 52 feet.
Can you print on the tubes and cores?
Yes, we offer high-quality one and two-color in-line printing at an inexpensive cost.
Do you manufacture giftwrap tubes?
Yes, we do.
What type of closures do you offer?
We have plastic and metal end plugs.
Metal end plugs are used on our heavy-duty kraft tubes and are self-locking.
Plastic end plugs have an easy-pull finger tab
Do you manufacture telescope tubes?
Yes, we manufacture adjustable shipping tubes to cover lengths from 30” to 60” and 60” to 120”.
Are end caps included in my stock mailing tube order?
End caps are included in all of our stock mailing tube products. They are not needed for our Snap-Seal tubes.
How do I remove metal end caps?
Metal end plugs are for a one-time use only. Metal ends may be removed by prying out with a screwdriver or simply cutting off the end of the tube.
How responsive is Yazoo Mills?

How does your print quality compare to the competition?
We stand behind our print quality as we feel it’s the best in the business. Our in-line logo printing on brown paper is excellent. We do not run smudged logos or show marks from the print plate. Our standard is clear and crisp print. For multi-color prints on tape cores, we have them printed by a professional printer—their expertise is the level of detail you see on supermarket shelves. That is how we help you with professional branding of your product.
Shipping and Yazoo Terms
Can I get a delivered price?
Yes, however, it depends on the area and volume. Stock and custom orders are based on area and volume, too.

Can I designate a carrier?
For custom orders, you can designate your carrier. For stock mailing tube orders, Yazoo will send them the best way.
What is your return policy?
• Stock products are eligible for return within 30 days if unused. The buyer is responsible for return shipping, which must be sent via UPS or FedEx.
• We do not accept returns for custom products.
What are your terms?
After you complete the credit approval form, our terms for custom orders and orders over $100 are 1% 10 days NET 30.
What is your delivery area?
Yazoo Mills ships our paper tubes and paper cores daily throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
