Our paper tubes and cores are made from 100% recycled fiber paperboard, primarily sourced from post-consumer waste. We recycle all trim and waste produced during manufacturing—ensuring that our products are as eco-friendly as they are reliable.
Our Commitment To Recycling
We take pride in our role as environmental stewards. Yazoo Mills recycles 100% of its production trim and waste through an in-house process that includes shredding, baling, and shipping to paper mills that produce recycled paperboard.
North America recycles over 4.5 million tons of recovered fiber annually into paperboard. According to the Environmental Defense Fund:
- For every ton converted from virgin to recycled paperboard, one ton of fiber stays out of landfills
- Converting 250 tons annually
- Saves energy equivalent to heating a home for a year
- Avoids air pollution equal to removing 6 trucks or 54 cars from the road
- Saves enough water to fill 7 Olympic-sized swimming pools
