A Journey in HR
Kellsie’s career path showcases her dedication and growth within the HR field. She gained valuable experience through an internship in the HR department at a prominent glass manufacturing company. This internship provided a solid foundation for her future endeavors. Following her internship, Kellsie embarked on a rewarding journey with a leading beauty retailer. Starting as a temporary associate, she quickly demonstrated her adaptability and eagerness to learn. Kellsie embraced every opportunity, progressing from Administrative Coordinator, where she handled tasks like ordering supplies, managing invoices, and planning events, to HR Coordinator. In this role, she spearheaded the full-cycle hourly recruitment process and even traveled to Florida to train the HR team at a new fulfillment center. Kellsie’s dedication continued to shine as she advanced to the role of HR Specialist. In this position, she expertly managed timekeeping and payroll for a large distribution center. Furthermore, she played a crucial role in the successful launch of a new market fulfillment center in South Carolina, where she provided valuable training to the incoming HR Specialist.
Education and Expertise
Kellsie’s academic foundation is strong, with a BSBA in HR Management from Shippensburg University. However, her commitment to professional development extends beyond the classroom. She consistently seeks out opportunities to expand her knowledge through local and online HR trainings, ensuring she keeps up-to-date with the latest industry best practices.

Goals and Passions:
Kellsie is driven to achieve her professional goals, with obtaining the prestigious SHRM-CP certification being a top priority. This certification will further solidify her expertise in the HR field and enhance her ability to contribute to the success of the Yazoo team.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Kellsie enjoys cultivating her green thumb. She’s a passionate gardener, finding solace and joy in nurturing her beautiful flower beds. Her favorites include vibrant dahlias, delicate snapdragons, and cheerful cosmos. She’s already eagerly anticipating the warmer months so she can spend more time tending to her garden. Kellsie also shares her home with a menagerie of rescued animals, including three dogs, four cats, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, and even a goose!
