Celebrating Employee Excellence at Yazoo’s Annual Safety Picnic

The 2023 Yazoo Mills company picnic was a smashing success, as employees came together under the warm summer sun to kick off the season in style. With catered food from Hughes Meats that left taste buds dancing, refreshing cold drinks to beat the heat, and delectable desserts to satisfy any sweet tooth, it was a picnic for the books!

Our picnic was a true testament to the incredible bond and camaraderie that exists within our organization. This annual event continues to be one of the proudest traditions in our 120+ years of business that sets the tone for a fun-filled and productive summer ahead. It’s a chance for us to not only appreciate the hard work and dedication of our team but also to create lasting memories and strengthen the relationships that make Yazoo Mills so special.

We reflected upon recent achievements, including our Significant Improvement and Perfect Record awards from the National Safety Council (NSC), and how we look forward to the future as we strive for even higher levels of excellence. We gave away an abundance of raffled gift cards + prizes and each team member walked away with a custom-designed safety t-shirt and safety glasses for optimum comfort during their work day.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thank you to all our employees for their unwavering commitment to continued quality, dedication, reliability, and building a safety always culture. Together, we will continue to build on our accomplishments and strive for even greater heights in the future.
