We’re excited to announce the promotion of Celsea Weaver to Sales Assistant at Yazoo Mills.
In her new role, Celsea supports customers and the sales team by helping deliver high-quality paper core and tube solutions while continuing to strengthen customer relationships and internal processes.
Celsea joined Yazoo Mills as a Customer Service Representative, first learning the Receptionist role to help support the team during a maternity leave. Since then, she has continued to grow by supporting multiple areas of the department, including Customer Service, training, and Sales.
Throughout her time at Yazoo Mills, Celsea has played an important role in supporting team growth and improving processes. She helped train three new Customer Service Representatives, stepped into order entry during a critical time for the department, and created a sales follow-up tracking template that later became the team’s standard format. She has also contributed to process improvement efforts by helping to map out the order-entry workflow and by participating in the upcoming VSM Project.
Celsea enjoys being a resource to others and values the opportunity to continue learning and solving problems for both customers and coworkers. She says this promotion is an important step in building her knowledge, confidence, and continued growth within the company.
She credits each department at Yazoo Mills for helping her grow, noting that employees are always willing to share knowledge and support one another. Describing the company culture in her own words, she says, “We are diverse — we are the Zoo.”
Outside of work, Celsea enjoys listening to Metalcore music and attending concerts.
