Yazoo Mills was proud to continue our sponsorship as a Gold Sponsor of the 2024 Snack Town Runfest, a running extravaganza for all ages and abilities, held on Saturday, October 5th in the picturesque borough of Hanover, PA. This annual event saw perfect running conditions with sunny skies and cool temperatures, and all proceeds went to support the Livestrong at the YMCA Cancer Survivor Program and other essential YMCA initiatives.
Our dedicated Yazoo team—Aaron Long, Aaron Mojica, Tyler Hursh, and Dustin Naugle—proudly represented us in the race, sporting custom BibBoards™ Race Bib Fasteners on their bibs, adding a unique touch to their race day gear. Long, Hursh, and Naugle took part in the 5K, securing 2nd place in the Corporate Challenge among six teams. Individually, Long finished 15th, Hursh 25th, and Naugle 42nd out of 210 participants. Meanwhile, Mojica took on the half marathon, completing the 13.1-mile course alongside 210 other runners—a true display of endurance and commitment.
We were also excited to compete in the inaugural YMCA Corporate Challenge, held in conjunction with the Runfest. Each team was judged by the top three 5K times, and Yazoo’s strong performance placed us in the top half of the field with a 2nd place finish!
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in the Snack Town Runfest and the YMCA Corporate Challenge, as well as the organizers and local supporters who make these events such a success each year. Special thanks to our employees for their outstanding performances and for representing Yazoo Mills with pride.
Yazoo Mills is committed to supporting our community’s health and well-being, and we’re honored to sponsor the Snack Town Runfest and the YMCA Corporate Challenge year after year. These events inspire people of all ages to get active, have fun, and connect with others—values we proudly stand behind.
