We’re excited to announce the promotion of Stacey Shue to Order Prep Lead at Yazoo Mills!
Since joining the team two years ago, Stacey has demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, a strong desire to learn, and a commitment to collaboration that has made a lasting impact on our Order Prep department. Her promotion reflects not only her hard work but also her dedication to continuous growth and team success.
A Journey Built on Learning and Initiative
From day one, Stacey embraced the opportunity to learn. With Steph serving as her mentor, she quickly mastered the fundamentals of order prep, from the basics all the way through WIP processes. Stacey’s detail-oriented mindset made her a natural fit for preparing accurate orders for the production team.
Eager to grow, she consistently took on new responsibilities and sought out opportunities to expand her knowledge. Stacey didn’t limit her learning to one department; she made it a priority to understand how Sales and Shipping operate, recognizing that collaboration across departments is key to success.
As Stacey shares:
“I learned quickly that my detail-oriented skills are great for prepping orders for the production team with accuracy. I was eager to learn everything I could about this department and what my role was for this company.”

A Commitment to Accuracy and Excellence
Stacey takes great pride in maintaining a high level of order accuracy and continually expanding her technical knowledge. She regularly asked questions and engaged with the Production team to deepen her understanding of tube production and packaging processes.
Her collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with different personalities and learning styles have strengthened not only her own communication skills but also the team as a whole.
Words of Advice for Growth
When asked what advice she would give others looking to grow their careers at Yazoo Mills, Stacey shared:
“Ask as many questions as you need to in order to understand your job. It is also great to learn other departments and understand how they operate because everything ties together in some way, shape, or form, so knowledge is power. Stay focused and detail-oriented in anything you do. Don’t be afraid to ask, ‘What can I do to learn more or do more?’”
