In the rare case you do receive defective or damaged material from Yazoo, or even from another provider, here’s what you can do. 

How To Deal with Damaged Products

At Yazoo, we take great pride in providing you with the highest quality products and service with every order placed. Unfortunately, we’ve found that carriers and other providers do not always take the same level of committed care as we do and your product may arrive in less than satisfactory condition. Here’s what you can do if that happens to you!

  1. Indicate the damage on the Bill of Lading (necessary to be reimbursed from the carrier, credit may not be issued if this is not done). Without damage reported on the BOL, the carrier will say that it never happened.
  2. Take pictures of the damage immediately (proof of condition upon receipt)
  3. Take a picture of the Yazoo tag (for traceability)
  4. Send a copy of the BOL, pictures of the tag, and damage to your customer service rep or orders@yazoomills.com.
