At Yazoo Mills, our people are the foundation of our success. We’re excited to welcome Matthew Dohn as our new Financial Controller! With two decades of experience in accounting and financial leadership, Matt brings a strong background, steady guidance, and a team-focused mindset to the Yazoo family.
A Strong Foundation in Finance
Before joining Yazoo Mills, Matt began his career in the construction equipment industry, where he held positions including Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, and Parts/Service Accounting Manager.
From there, he transitioned into the plastic blowmolding machine industry, where he advanced to Financial Controller, a role that deepened his expertise and prepared him well for his new position at Yazoo Mills.
Education and Experience That Add Up
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University.
With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in areas such as:
- General ledger reconciliations
- Treasury management
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Inventory management
He’s well-equipped to help lead Yazoo’s financial operations with precision and insight.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, his favorite way to relax and recharge. And here’s a fun fact: he used to bowl in a league and averaged over 200!
