Yazoo Mills is thrilled to spotlight one of our dedicated employees, Sandra Garcia, who recently transitioned into a Sales Associate role. Sandra’s journey with Yazoo began in November 2017 in Customer Service, and her hard work and dedication have continually propelled her forward. We sat down with Sandra to learn more about her experience, her passions, and her aspirations.
From Customer Service to Sales Associate: A Growing Career
Sandra’s career at Yazoo Mills is a testament to the company’s commitment to employee growth. Starting in Customer Service, she quickly became a valuable asset. After initially preparing for a Sales Assistant promotion, Sandra advanced even further and is now thriving as a Sales Associate.
In this new role, she continues to deliver excellent customer service while taking on expanded responsibilities. Sandra now works closely with new customers from the very beginning, assisting in the quoting stage, helping with pricing, and answering questions to ensure a smooth and positive experience. Her ability to bridge communication between teams and support customers through every step of the process makes her an invaluable part of the Sales department.
In addition to her growth at Yazoo Mills, Sandra also recently acquired her real estate license, she is officially a Realtor. This exciting achievement highlights her drive, ambition, and passion for helping others.

When asked what she enjoys most about working at Yazoo, Sandra highlights the company’s genuine care for its employees. Beyond the Office: Family, Travel, and Creativity
Outside of her professional life, Sandra is a devoted family person with a strong passion for travel. A fun fact many might not know, her eldest son recently earned his private pilot’s license. With a pilot in the family, the Garcias are excited for more travel adventures with him in the cockpit.
Sandra also has a creative side. When she is not spending time with family or traveling, she hopes to get back into drawing and painting, reconnecting with her artistic talents.
Dream Destinations: The Mediterranean and Israel
Like many travel lovers, Sandra has a bucket list of dream destinations. At the top are the Mediterranean and Israel, regions rich in culture, history, and stunning landscapes. She hopes to explore these breathtaking locations soon.
