New Oxford Harvest Day Parade: A Vibrant Community Tradition

Our Yazoo team loved celebrating the New Oxford Harvest Day Parade & Festival with the community! This beloved event, presented by the New Oxford Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Yazoo Mills, is one of the many traditions that bring our community together each year.

On Saturday, October 28th, a large crowd enjoyed a beautiful fall afternoon filled with craft and food vendors, free kids’ activities, and of course, the much-anticipated parade. Yazoo Mills is proud to be a part of this vibrant community, and we’re honored to be the exclusive Parade Sponsor.

As America’s largest family-owned manufacturer of paper tubes and cores for over 121 years and a 41+ year member of the New Oxford Chamber, Yazoo is committed to giving back to the communities in which we operate. We’re proud to support the New Oxford Harvest Day Parade & Festival and other local events that bring our community together.

This year, Yazoo once again entered its iconic 1959 White Mustang Tractor in the parade. The tractor was used at our Frederick Street plant for over a decade before being retired and restored. Today, it’s a beloved part of our community, and we love sharing it with everyone.

A huge thank you to the New Oxford Chamber of Commerce, the vendors, volunteers, sponsors, fire police, and all the parade participants for making this another successful event!

Yazoo team members and their families also enjoyed walking alongside the tractor and throwing candy to the crowd. It was a truly special day, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s parade!
