Quality Control – How Does Yazoo Do It?

       

Ever since the very beginning [115 years ago], Yazoo has always kept quality control as a top priority in the company.  We understand and realize that it’s not about the quantity that a customer orders but about the quality they receive with every single product they order.  From raw materials to finished products, we demand quality.  Quality, reliability, and consistency are a way of life at Yazoo.

All of our products are manufactured from 100% recycled paperboard which comes from the best-in-class mills in North America.  We hold all of our raw material suppliers to
very strict tolerances in order to produce high-quality, consistent products for our customers.

We have a quality control system in place for inspecting and testing of all raw materials before and during processing.  This system provides assurance that the materials continue to meet the physical, chemical, functional, visual, and dimensional requirements needed for the customer.  Our employees complete inspection checks and testing on all materials that are used to manufacture our products.  We also do testing on finished paper tubes and cores as well.  Our quality assurance streamlines production and helps ensure that the final products meet our quality criteria.  Our employees perform many extensive tests outlined in our Quality Assurance Manual.
