That’s why we’re proud to share that 12 Yazoo Mills supervisors are making exceptional progress toward earning their Master Certification in Supervision through the Manufacturers’ Association. Recently, our team completed the Supervisory 3/4 Combo Class onsite with instructor Becky Becker, SPHR, taking another important step in developing leaders who support our culture and drive operational excellence.
Level 3: The Team Leader Certificate – Reaching Your Leadership Potential
This portion of the program focused on what it means to build and sustain a high-performing team. Supervisors explored:
- The 7 PERFORM tools for fostering strong team environments
- Key Principles of Team Dynamics and Team Development
- Real-world case studies illustrating the impact of effective leadership
The training emphasized how proactive leadership and clear communication can transform challenges into opportunities and help teams reach their full potential.
Level 4: Problem Solving Certificate – Thinking Outside the Box
Supervisors also completed Level 4, a course centered on strengthening critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. The curriculum included:
- Tools for Critical Thinking
- Structured Creative Problem-Solving Methods
- Practical Decision-Making strategies for daily operational challenges
These sessions equip our teams to identify issues faster, resolve them more effectively, and continually improve the processes that support our customers every day.

Instead of following the traditional five half-day format, our supervisors completed this combined training in full-day sessions—a testament to their dedication and determination. Each level completed brings them closer to achieving their Master Certification in Supervision through the Manufacturers’ Association.
