Sustainable and sustainable designs are not just buzz words. Yazoo has actually incorporated these practices into the architecture and planning of the new Hanover warehouse. The facility was designed to LEED certified credentials and LEED certified contractor and subcontractors were utilized.
Some of the more apparent sustainable highlights are:
Precast concrete walls that create a thermally efficient integrally insulated high “R” value and a thermal mass that reduces heating and cooling costs.
HVAC systems which will provide greater than 30% reduction in power usage.
Lighting systems that will provide over 10% reduction in electric consumption.
Plumbing systems that will contribute over 40% reduction in water and wastewater usage.
A stunning entrance that will utilize the natural light and cloud ceilings to create a beautiful and eco-friendly lobby.
The warehouse construction is set for completion in early October.
