Yazoo Appoints Robinson to Plant Manager at Hanover Facility

Yazoo Mills is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Robinson to Plant Manager of our Hanover, PA facility.

Mark joined Yazoo Mills in March 2014 as a Lift Operator/Lead in the Shipping Department. Since then, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to our company and our employees through his innovative thinking, determination, and skill set. He was promoted to Distribution Center Supervisor in 2016 before advancing into this new role.

As Plant Manager, Mark is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Hanover plant, including production, quality control, shipping, maintenance, and personnel. He will effectively lead all areas in the manufacturing environment to produce top-quality paper tubes and paper cores, build effective teams, and maintain a positive, efficient, and productive workforce. He will also ensure the health and safety of employees by working closely with our safety & health manager to uphold safe practices and ensure a safe work environment.

Mark brings a wealth of experience, detail, and knowledge to the position, as well as a deep understanding of our manufacturing processes and a strong commitment to continuous improvement as he has taken on the role of leading our Improvement and Development Team. He is also a proven leader and motivator, having built close relationships with his team members and earned their respect and trust. He is dedicated to their success and to helping them achieve their full potential.

Outside of work, Mark is a devoted husband and father, as well as an active member of the Hanover community. He is a passionate coach for his daughters’ basketball and soccer teams, and he enjoys golfing, DIY home projects, fishing, and watching sports.
